The 2 a.m. canyon run
Couldn't sleep, so I took the long way to nowhere. Empty road, cold air, no traffic to wait behind. Nothing dramatic happened, no photos were taken, and it was the best drive of the year. Home by four, and the car was still ticking when I closed the garage door.
New set of Pilot Sport 4S
The rears were down to the wear bars after a season of canyon weekends, so all four got replaced. Factory sizes, fresh alignment, and a noticeable improvement in how the car puts power down out of tight corners. Kept the best old tire as a spare.
Akrapovič Slip-On titanium exhaust
Titanium slip-on with carbon tips. Saves roughly 5 kg over stock and gives a deeper tone with no drone at highway speed. The tips sit flush with the diffuser and no cutting was needed. Cold starts in the garage are now a neighbourhood event.
